JACKSON HEIGHTS, NY, UNITED STATES, August 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- This Sunday, one of the world's most diverse communities will come together to celebrate the people, businesses, and organizations that make Jackson Heights extraordinary.On Sunday, August 9, Jackson Heights Day will transform five blocks of Paseo Park, 34th Avenue, from 81st Street through 86th Street, into a vibrant community celebration featuring live entertainment, local businesses, public art, wellness experiences, youth programming, cultural performances, and family activities.
Home to nearly 95,000 residents, almost 60 percent of whom were born outside the United States, Jackson Heights has long been recognized as a neighborhood where diversity fuels entrepreneurship, innovation, and community. Jackson Heights Day celebrates that spirit by bringing together residents, small businesses, artists, nonprofit organizations, educators, healthcare providers, and civic leaders for a day dedicated to strengthening community connections, empowering local businesses, and creating new opportunities for economic growth.
